This “before” photo shows how the existing kitchen was outdated and the space was tight and unattractive. Everything needed replacement, especially the layout.

The “after” integrates a carefully designed structural modification of the outside wall of the existing kitchen that provided room to…develop the ultimate new space and amenities of a kitchen befitting a contemporary life style.

The oven microwave built in installation is emulated in the coffee station with its own built-in coffee maker and service counter. A tall pantry and glass front cookbook cabinet balance this composition.

At the other corner of the new layout holds the china storage and wine counter for entertaining. The entire room is surrounded by cherry cabinetry with an antique white island as the anchor to the space.

Between the kitchen and the garage is a new mudroom and laundry. It becomes a three way passage between inside and outside. Pocket doors can close off the laundry as needed, very convenient and yet discrete.

Two upper bedrooms and a small master bath were redesigned into a new spacious master suite with all the desired features, including his and hers vanities, ample storage and a discrete TV location.

The master bath received a new tub and shower in the layout, with tile detailing, glass shower enclosure to visually open the space. The shower features an electronically controlled multi head shower and body spray system.

Exterior before: The client’s first desire was a building zoning maximized garage addition. The second was an entire main level remodel incorporating a new kitchen, mud room, laundry, entry and master suite.

Exterior after: The home is now completely redone. From the exterior finish, new entry to the master suite and garage, it is virtually a new home with an extraordinary kitchen as the center of attention.
